TNC Community Spring Fun Day

On May 23, Community Connections program leaders hosted a Spring Fun Day to bring together individuals from our Residential Living and Community Connections programs for a day of outdoor activities. The event provided a meaningful opportunity for staff and individuals to enjoy time together outside day-to-day routines.

Held on the property of a TNC Community home, the beautiful, sunny, 75-degree day was filled with activities and a delicious home-grilled meal. Nearly everyone found success fishing at the pond. For some, it was their first time fishing! Uphill from the pond was a painting station, encouraging creativity and self-expression while staff grilled hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone. 

Events like this reflect what TNC Community is all about—championing equity and inclusion for individuals with disabilities, inspiring lives of dignity, belonging, and joy. By creating meaningful experiences where our individuals are seen, heard, and valued, our team builds strong, trusting relationships. From personalized support to shared laughter, the day was a reflection of the deep sense of community that drives our mission. These moments remind us that inclusion is not just a value, but something we actively build through new experiences.

Spring Fun Day was more than a celebration of the changing seasons. It was a celebration of community—the kind that TNC Community works to cultivate every day.
